What Did I Miss In The Last Meeting?
Film Industry Virtual Networking Meeting Event Recordings
Hi Mikel, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for yesterday's webinar with William Garcia. It was presented so clear and organized; I wish I could learn all this valuable information years ago. And it was so on time as I'm finalizing the script; my son and I have been working for almost a year now and planning to shoot a trailer soon.
Thank you so much for inviting me to your weekly Z-call. It's been a real great push back into my career after the 'COVID' slump.
I look forward to more in the new year!
I wanted to thank you so much for putting together this call and networking connection each week. I was really in need of a way to connect with other folks in the industry--especially during COVID. I really enjoyed our call last week with Oliver Mann--so much insight! (Feb 3rd Episode)
Mikel, Thank you for that great networking event! It was really informative - one of the best I've attended - seriously! Also - your links, practical take-aways - all so helpful. I cannot wait for the next one. Thank YOU for being a great supporter of film-makers and creators! All the best.
I’d like to continue attending, have forwarded the Louisiana film channel info to my producer, and was contacted by and connected someone from last session I attended with a soundtrack producer! :)

Join us for a zoom meeting with filmmakers from around the world. We will discuss Facebook Video Series Monetization Updates and Strategies.
Hosted by Mikel Fair, Director of Film Festival Circuit, LLC.
After more than 15 years on location in the TV and Film Industry, Mikel has created and developed ten ongoing live film festivals in the United States. The concept of releasing content for Television and Movie Theaters has taken a back seat to the world of streaming services and video content. Most of us think of Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV and Amazon as the gold standard for content distribution. But for filmmakers that don't want to deal with the elusive Hollywood Gatekeepers, Studios and Corporate Media Companies, new opportunities are available now. Facebook is cutting checks for streaming video content in a "series" format. Mikel will break it all down for the 1st 30 minutes of the networking meeting. Join the discussion!
For 90 minutes, we will split into breakout rooms to discuss upcoming projects, seek advice, network with other industry professionals and most importantly, have fun!
Wednesday January 27, 2021 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm (PST)
Meet other Documentary filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals. More info about our guest and topics will be posted soon.
There will be more virtual networking meetings and webinars in 2021.
