The Drive Back, Written by Justin Guidroz (Virginia) - After a late night encounter on a business trip, two friends struggle to reconnect as they drive across the country back home. A silent film dealing with sexuality, friendship, and the unknown space in between. Andrew and Simon lived in my head for months before I finally caved and wrote down their story. I've seen this film so many times that I think it'd be nice for others to see it too, for them to experience their story. There's sweetness in tragedy, and tragedy in familiarity, and that's what I hope I've conveyed with this story.
